Fiber laser cutting machine is a key equipment in modern industrial manufacturing, widely used for cutting and processing metal pipes. Regular maintenance and timely troubleshooting are crucial to ensure the normal operation and prolong the service life of the equipment.
In terms of maintenance, the first thing to pay attention to is the regular replacement of cooling circulating water. The quality of cooling water directly affects the cooling effect of the laser generator, so it is recommended to replace it once a month to prevent the formation of scale. In addition, the optical glass on the laser cutting head also needs to be regularly cleaned and maintained to avoid damage from dust or other pollutants. For the sliding rails, gears, and racks of the equipment, it is also necessary to regularly remove accumulated dust and use lubricating oil for maintenance to ensure their smooth operation.
However, even with careful maintenance, fiber laser cutting machines may still malfunction during use. For example, the problem of unstable or inaccurate pipe cutting length may be due to loose or inaccurate positioning of the front gear, or poor contact of the conductive device. For this type of problem, it is necessary to fix the front gear, adjust the positioning, and clean and polish the contact part of the conductive device.
Another common malfunction is the inability to cut the pipe during the cutting process. This may be due to improper angle setting of the rotary chuck during cutting, insufficient air pressure, contamination of the laser lens or improper focus adjustment, as well as nozzle blockage or damage. To address these issues, it is necessary to check and adjust the rotation angle, check the pressure gauge, clean or replace the lenses, adjust the focus, and replace clogged or damaged nozzles.
In addition, excessive burrs inside and outside the cutting tube are also a common fault. This may be due to loose copper tips or iron slag, inaccurate calibration of the height adjuster, damaged protective lenses, or improper focus adjustment. To address these issues, it is necessary to inspect and replace the copper nozzle, recalibrate the height adjuster, replace the protective lens, and adjust the focus.
